Part of me is wondering if I should make this blog private... I have a few viewers, one subscriber *HI ALINA!* but otherwise, the blog is for me. The other day I started receiving off comments under inappropriate names. I don't get it... You're a grown person and you want to act like a 3rd grader? Really now? Keep em coming because I believe in Karma.
Friends have said don't give in to the negativity but it's hard. Yesterday made me want to run to McDonalds for a large fry, but I didn't. Instead I devoured some Hot Wings and an Aidelles Chicken Portobello Sausage! It curbed the craving for fries and I was able to stick to my eating plan. Sure, it had a lot of salt. Sure it had a lot of fat but hey, it's working and it's better than eating a giant sandwich WITH Bread and a large fry. Sure there are better alternatives but at that time, at that moment and with the way I was feeling. This was good.
Judge all you want, if something is working for me then I'll keep at it. This weekend I plan on doing a pretty descent size shopping trip to the grocery store(s) stock piling fresher, leaner and healthier alternatives to make ME feel better about the way I'm eating. I'm only here writing to my viewers so they can get some ideas. Soon I'll start taking pictures of my creations... Did you know you can make a pizza crust out of cauliflower? Crazy right?
Well that's about it.
Breakfast-
- 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar and mushrooms.
Lunch-
- Today's volunteer day at work and no one's around, just a few of us admins so we're ordering pizza. Well THEY'RE ordering pizza. I'm having what's called 'The Sinful Salad' it has grilled chicken, gorgonzola and bacon. YUM!! Planet Pizza guys... Seriously. Best salad ever!
Dinner-
- Not sure. Depending on what time DH gets home. I bought two bacon wrapped filet mignons last night and we'll probably have those or we'll head to the mall and get chicken teriyaki stir fry, all veggies no rice. Yum!
Updated: DH didn't get home until really late and I decided to just chow on some protein.... Aidelles sausage that is. Yep, no veggies again but that and tons of water.
Carb Count- 11.30Calories- 2417

I did medifast, witn encouragement and support from my mom who also successfully lost with it. How many people do YOU know, dietfailurecommenter that weight 15lbs less now than when they got married? NOT MANY! Well, I am and soon Dee will be too!
ReplyDeleteDee- I made cauliflower pizza on medifast. I could never get the crust to quite form, I think because I only used eggwhite maybe, not sure. I know my om says that the yolk helps bind things, not sure how true that is. Also, be careful about HOW MUCH cauli you use, like peanuts the carbs can really add up. Are you keeping track of carb grams per day? The reason you lose so fast, especially if you do not cheat, is because you are in mild ketosis if you are b/w 80 and 100 carbs a day, and in moderate ketosis if you are under that. Your body is burning fat rather than carbs, but you probably already knew that :) Just be careful coming off, when I went off Medifast, I gained back a few lbs and then ran to WW before it caught up to me, I am still down 15 of 19 lbs I lost on medifast and holding strong. I lost 2.8 lbs this week on WW and hope that keeps me motivation to keep going and lose another 20!
also get rid of that question mark in the title. You WILL accomplish.
ReplyDeleteHi there! Thanks for posting. I've been keeping track of my carbs on www.fatsecret.com. Fantastic site!! I've been under the 20 grams of carbs per day rule via Atkins. I'll let you know how my crust comes out because I'm hoping to make it for dinner tomorrow night. It's weird how I'm not cheating. I admit when I take a few sips of Pepsi here and there. I'm a HUGE soda drinker and so is DH, unfortunately I ran out of Coke Zero but I've been good today because I decided to pick up a bottle. Yep, I drink that in moderation. A cup for dinner and of course lots of water!
